With a repertoire of music spanning the nineteenth century world of Stephen Foster through the Tin Pan Alley era of Irving Berlin, for nearly thirty years, Spats White has been considered by many to be one of the premier vocal interpreters of early popular song.  His soothing singing and smooth ukulele musicianship have been heard echoing through the venerable halls of New York's St. Regis and Ritz Carlton hotels as well as the city's top night spots and jazz clubs.

The electronic media has also embraced Spats White's warm and unique musical style as indicated by his numerous appearances on national radio programs and television shows such as The CBS Morning Show, A&E's The Unexplained, PBS' American Masters and his own weekly New York City TV series, Spats White's Song Shop.

Throughout his career, Spats White's musical and performing talents have afforded him the chance to work alongside many of the legendary greats of show business as well as the entertainment world's top contemporary stars from silent film star Gloria Swanson and The Twilight Zone's Rod Serling to Billy Crystal, Brooke Shields and, yes, even Tiny Tim!

As an award-winning television producer and writer, Spats White has worked at WPIX Television, WWOR-TV and the ABC Network where he created and produced TV series and specials for Milton Berle, Victor Borge, Soupy Sales, Arthur Godfrey and others.  In the publishing field, Spats served as editor of Show Magazine and ScriptWriter News and contributing editor for Sassy Magazine, Millimeter Magazine and The Hollywood Reporter.

Spats White has lectured on show business history at Cornell University, The New School for Social Research, Brandeis University, Fairleigh Dickenson University and Ithaca College where he also served as professor of communications.

Recently, Spats wrote and starred in the critically acclaimed one man show God Loves Tiny Tim at New York's Theatre For The New City and Jolson Sings Tonight at New York's Triad Theatre and headlined in three editions of The New York Uke Fest.  His acclaimed CD, Spats White & His Blue Ukulele, continues to receive wide airplay on broadcast and internet radio stations across the country and he is currently featured on the motion picture soundtrack of TimeLine Films' new release Everybody's Sweetheart starring Rosanna Arquette.
